Turning to Wordpress

I just decided that I want to turn to wordpress from now on. That means I won't be posting blogs here anymore (hopefully).

So, if you want to read the rest of my blogs, go to my new site (but same blog) at orangehabbo.wordpress.com. I changed the name of the site so that it would sound reasonable.

I'll be reposting all of my blogs there. What I mean is that I will transfer everything here to the wordpress one so that it won't hassle you to read the previous blogs of mine.

I guarantee you, my next blog will be more personalized and is fit to the Habbo theme. :D

Don't worry, it's not the end. :)

HabFlow Prank?

Okay, I was tricked by the HabFlow administrators. Their fake "HabFlow closure" was all made up by Reserved.. and Funkyhabbo. Everyone became gullible because of the prank.

The day after it, I went to their site only to find out that it was all fake.
As Jason, the site admin, said:

"The act earlier on the closure of HabFlow was a stage. Which means, it isn't real. This helps to ensure that our supporter and staffs are vigilant and to also give them a scare! (HabFlow love pranks!) You will DEFINITELY experience such events for at least once a month. Happy HabFlow Fool!

And obviously, what other people say isn't what i mind about. Its how my friends think."

Hmm, something's fishy. How come the timing is wrong? Fool's day is on April but why do the prank near Christmas? What fishy too is that Reserved.. was shocked too about the news and now he comes up acting like one of the pranksters.

Anyway, HabFlow's now back and still is looking forward to be an official Habbo Fansite!

Pets Reintroduced

As you know, pets in Habbo hotel are already out of fashion. Because of that, they're reintroduced again by the staff with new features! They're now hip in Habbo!

Pet owners can now train their pets with commands. Each successful command gives points to your pet but not every time you command your pet, it follows. When a pet reaches a certain amount of points, it will gain a level which gives you more command to your pet but gaining level will stop after its maximum level, the level 20. The points gained is equal to the energy used. If the command is equal to 20 points, 20 points itself will be deducted to the amount of energy your pet has. But do not worry, your pet will gain energy time after time. Higher training levels means more commands for your pet to follow. Your pet will also obey quicker once you reach another level.

If you can respect other Habbos, you can scratch your pet only 3 times a day but your Habbo has to be 3 days old. Don't worry, all Habbos has this opportunity to scratch other's pet and owners can scratch their own pet! Scratching boosts a pet's energy points as well as the other's.

You can now, not like before, walk your pet to other rooms by just dropping it to someone else's room only if the room owner allowed pets in his room. With this new feature, Habbos can now make pet races. Isn't that fantastic? But still, Habbos cannot trade their pets, it might cause confusion of the pet of who really is its owner.

Pet food now have nutrition points so that its energy and nutrition will increase. The fullness of your pet will make your pet obey your commands faster. Pet food can be bought in the catalogue for 1 coin each but there are deals of 4 coins for 6 pieces.

You can get pet badges from scratching pets, feeding them, owning many pets, and leveling them up.

If you want to experience all these, go to the catalogue section on 'Pets' tab then buy a pet for only 20 coins! I know it's a bit expensive but it would be exciting to have a pet!

Re: Mapping It Out

Okay, I lost the competition about the group page of the Philippines. My group page lost because it looked so plain and I can't fully use the whole page to add designs in it.

The Win-some Wednesday post by Tallespin issued the winners of the group page. Unfortunately, I lost the game, if you wish to know who won, It was cullen008's Proud to be in the Philippines. The group page he created was good. It's filled with design and many information about Philippines. And it's a counterpart of mine, I lacked coins so I also didn't filled up my group with too much stickers. I only put stickers that are related to the Philippines and the information in it.

Anyways, I can still join a competition. Though it's hard to win, you have to give your best to it!

How to Detect a Loser Fan of The Twilight Saga

Okay. I've read the Twilight series but only Twilight, New Moon and a couple of chapters from Eclipse. I can easily detect people who are the loser fans of The Twilight Series.

To make this explanation of mine short, there are 100% fans of twilight and I want to break them down into three (3) parts:
10% are fans who have read the book and became a fan of the Twilight Saga BEFORE the story became very popular (and including the release of the movie). I call them the ORIGINAL fans of Twilight.

60% are fans who started to read the series before the release of the movie BUT read the story DURING its popularity. I call these fans the partially loser ones.

30% are fans who read the story AFTER (this is really ridiculous) watching the movie. This is really stupid. I call these fans the totally loser ones.

To conclude, the 10-percenters are the original and loyal fans of the Twilight Series. They've discovered Twilight during its before-popularity era. The 60-percenters and the 30-percenters are the loser ones who became a fan of twilight during its popularity.

So, where are you there? Are you the 10%s or one of the LOSER 90% fans of twilight?
If you will ask me, I claim that I am a fan of the Twilight Saga. And if you will ask me if what percentage am I, I am one of the 10%s including my cousins. We read the book before its popularity probably on April and May of last 2008.
PS. April-May, 2009 are times when Twilight is not yet popular! So we're the original fans. :)

No offense to Twilight fans but this is how I see people and my bigger brother's observation about the fans of Twilight.

HabFlow has come to an End

This is all vanity and stupidity - the Habflow thinggy! The fansite was planned to be successful. The banner I created - I created with enthusiasm - will just be gone?! I've always wanted to be an official staff member of something online! Why does it have to be like this?

On 8:30 PM of November 22, 2009, I logged in to HabFlow's forum and saw nothing! Not like what I saw before! I was curious of what was happening. I went to the HabFlow homepage and saw:

Unfortunately, this has come to the end of the era. HabFlow will stop operations from the 22nd Of November 2009.
We would like to thank you for your support in making HabFlow a success.
Special thanks to:

Mapping It Out

"Habbos of the same feather flock together"
- Tallespin

At last, the Habbo Staff created a competition about the 3 countries in 1 Habbo Hotel. It's funny to look at the Philippine group page they created. They will be giving out cool badges to Habbos who will add the group page on every Monday starting November 23, 2009.

So there's a competition currently running in Habbo about each country's group page. It says there that we should design a group page of the country we are living. And then, I joined. Haha. If you want to see the group page I created, well, I proudly will show it to you.

The group page I created, The Philippines, is about the Philippines (duh) and it's culture in cuisine, the Filipinos, etc. I designed it with a wood-like background because Filipino old homes are created using detailed-designed woods. About the group badge, I designed it to look like the Philippine flag. It looks ridiculous and funny to look at but if you stare at it, you will notice that it actually looks like the Philippine flag. Hahaha - the flower was used as the sun! Anyway... the staff will be choosing 3 winners (1 for each group page) and these Habbos will receive a Gold Habbo Medal sticker, an Executive Globe, and 5 Habbo Points each.

Please vote for the group page I created. Thanks!

Oh! By the way, in case you're feeling lazy to go to the group page, I took a picture of the group page and it's here. :)
